When a high school theater student arrives at the home of a raffle prize winner to give a private dinner party performance of a song from Peter Pan, she comes to realize that something is badly amiss with her patron.

When an aging Shakespearean actor runs lines from The Tempest with his scene partner, he spies an apparition of his deceased wife on a bridge in Chicago at night. A spectral chase across the city ensues, with the actor and his partner trying to catch the ghost, while the actor's daughter and her friend try to save him from what they see as total madness.
